Centuries later, before commencing the dispersal of all magic in The Great Diffusion, the mage Canuk and the Wizard Trembyle cast a long life spell on themselves, to ensure that both would have enough time to recover the power they lost due to their participation in the Great Diffusion of 1247 GUE. It was a success, they were able to aid the events that eventually helped the nameless Sweepstakes Winner in defeating Morphius.
